Red Diamonds

A diamond is a naturally occurring substance that is an allotrope of carbon, which is formed deep within the surface of the earth. What makes a diamond different from other carbon substances is the arrangement of its molecules. In this case, because of the extremely high pressure and heat deep within the earth, the molecules of carbon are bonded in a tetrahedral arrangement, which makes the diamond the way it is.
